Oratorio/Religious Music

Steve's unique baritone voice is powerful enough to easily soar over an orchestra while still retaining perfect pitch, musicality and diction. His warm and magnetic stage presence enhances every performance.

Since his move to the Twin Cities in 2012, he has had a busy performing career: an opera role, many oratorios, and performing his own show, Our Mighty Mississippi.

With his love of beautifully written church music, Steve especially enjoys oratorio. He has performed the baritone solos in the Dvorak Te Deum with the Metropolitan Symphony and Minnesota Chorale. Within the last five years, he has performed the baritone solos for: The Bach B Minor Mass, Brahms Requiem, Faure Requiem, Brubeck's Gates of Justice Hodie Fantasia, Mozart Requiem and the Haydn Creation with symphony and choir at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church.

Below are some samples of Steve's extraordinary singing.

Steve also enjoys singing the beloved hymns: In the Garden, Shall We Gather at The River. In his work as riverlorian and guest entertainer for American Cruise Lines, he leads a weekly hymn sing and delights in the sounds and joys of people being brought together in uplifting song.
